Describe What Remains Visible
If Ledger Live shows a blank window in a Wayland session, identify whether the outer window, navigation, and ordinary settings still render. The app now carries Ledger Wallet branding. A whole interface that never paints is different from a single online panel returning no content.
Keep the distribution, desktop environment, display-session type, graphics setup, app artifact, and trigger. Do not conclude that all Wayland launches are broken from one screen or a failure observed only through remote access.
Use the Window’s Behavior as the First Branch

Verify Which Executable the Desktop Started
Check the actual AppImage path and launcher options. A desktop icon can continue using an older download after a current file was obtained. Compare a normal launch of the intended artifact with that icon, recording the target instead of referring to both as the same newest version.
Use Ledger’s official package route and current host requirements. Do not substitute an unverified repack advertised as a graphics fix. A visible public name does not establish identical runtime or build configuration.
Make One Display Comparison When the Device Is Idle
After ordinary tasks are settled, close the application normally and reopen it under a simpler known display arrangement. Note whether the symptom depends on multiple monitors, scaling, remote viewing, or a specific feature. Keep the artifact constant.
If the distribution already offers another appropriate session, a supported comparison may help identify session-specific behavior. Do not assume every current system has an X11 login option or install a replacement desktop stack just to reproduce someone else’s test.
Never perform logouts, display-session changes, or host restarts during progressing Ledger OS installation. Preserve the existing maintenance host and connection. A rendering investigation can wait until that sensitive operation finishes.
Use Framework Guidance Without Guessing the Embedded Version
Electron’s Wayland discussion describes changing native display support across framework releases. That provides context, not proof that your Ledger artifact contains a particular runtime or accepts a historical Ozone setting.
Avoid collections of graphics switches from unrelated issues, especially options that remove the sandbox. Running as root does not establish a correct display environment either. Give official support the reproducible artifact and session comparison so its guidance can fit the actual release.
Confirm the Original View After a Supported Repair
Return to the same screen or action that produced the blank result. A normal startup is useful, but it does not prove a previously empty provider view now works. Assess hardware recognition and account-data refresh independently once the interface is readable.
Does a Blank Result Page Cancel a Send?
No. If hardware approval already occurred, inspect the transaction or provider record before another attempt. A missing final view cannot determine the network outcome.
Should I Delete the Profile to Reset Graphics?
Do not remove guessed data directories. They may contain useful account organization without being the cause. Follow specific current guidance and preserve needed non-secret records before a justified reset.
What Makes the Reproduction Useful?
Describe the smallest action producing the blank view, what still renders, and which controlled display comparison changes it. Redact account information and keep recovery material outside traces or screen recordings.
